Anyone building, altering or
moving any structure within Plainville
city limits must first obtain a Contractors License. Exception: a property owner performing improvements,
alterations or construction on his or her own property for his or her own
personal use and permanent occupancy does not need a license, however a
Building Permit is still required.

offering roofing services must be certified by, and in good standing with, the
Kansas Attorney General. Please include a copy of your Roofing Certificate when
applying for a Contractors License.
